Boulder Oaks Golf Club, originally named Meadow Lake Golf Club, is a Semi-Private 18 holes golf course in Escondido, California.
Meadow Lake Golf Club first opened for play in 1965. Tom Sanderson designed the course.
The course temporarily closed in July 2015 and reopened in 2016. The course was shortened from 6,524 yards from the tips to 5,726 yards and par went from 72 to 70. The course became more manageable for the average golfer. The $6.2 million renovation used money supplied by the Metropolitan Water District’s turf removal program. Golf course architect Dave Fleming is managing the renovation project.
When the course reopened in 2016, the course was renamed Boulder Oaks.

I play this course a-lot because I can play fast and its inexpensive. They have upgraded the conditions so the fairways are much nicer now than previously.

They are in the process of redoing the course and making it a executive type therefore they are letting the course get into very bad playing shape. I hope it works out for them in the future.
